historical artifacts and art of historical and cultural significance. Before being accepted by the University the work must meet certain criteria, namely: Does the works creator have a significant connection to Prince Edward Island or to the University? Does the work directly support teaching and research activity? Accordingly, works of art are only accepted if they meet the above, and other criteria. They further the purpose of the school in terms of cultural awareness and the ability to be used for research activities as well as various hands on teaching functions.
