It is then reviewed at a high level at the next Board meeting and a Board action is then initiated to approve the document before it is submitted to the proper authorities. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 12c Annually, all Board members are required to sign the Conflict of Interest policy to confirm that they have not engaged in activities that would conflict with the organization's policies of business activities. At each monthly Board meeting, the Board reviews a report developed by the Executive Director that details all activities since the last Board meeting. The report would include any involvement/activities by Board members which would alert the Board to any potential conflicts. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 15 The Executive Director's compensation is set by the entire Board of Directors, with input from the Executive Committee and Personnel Committee. We review compensation policies with members of the Board who work in various local industries to be sure our compensation levels are consistent with local averages. We also review pay rates used in similar, local organizations to ensure we are competitive in the community. Pay rates for other employees within the organization are set by the Executive Director using these same strategies, and the Board is informed of these decisions through the Directors monthly report. Form 990, Part VI, Section C, Line 19 We are always willing to share important documents or reports with individuals or organizations that request such access, and have a legitimate reason for such access. We routinely provide financial information (and other documents) to organizations from which we are requesting grants or gifts. Our annual report (which goes to all supporters) provides a brief financial summary from the prior year. An independent accounting firm prepares a formal financial report that is provided to anyone who requests a copy.
