Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 12c Relationships with vendors are reviewed annually and any potential conflictis presented to the board of directors for review as needed. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 15 Human Development Commission is a member of a National Community Action Agency, the State Community Action Agency and American Society of Employers. All of these organizations do a salary survey which Human Development Commission receives copies of and refer to them for guidance in salary determination. In order to ensure that compensation was accurate for the area in which the agency serves, Human Development Commission also engaged a national consultant to conduct a wage and compensation study based upon the market for the service area of Huron, Sanilac, Lapeer and Tuscola counties as well as neighboring counties including St. Clair, Bay and Saginaw counties and adjusted wages agency wide during the most recent calendar year based upon the results of the study. The Executive Director's compensation was also determined based upon the study and approved by the Executive Committee of the board.
