The 990 Form is shared with the Board of Directors before it is filed. The Board also unanimously approved the accountant-reviewed financial statements at its December 2025 board meeting. Part VI, Line 15 The Finance Committee discusses the salary range and raises before the budget is approved by the Board. The late filing of Form 990 was due to circumstances beyond the filers control. The organization made a good-faith effort to timely file prior to the original due date. The Form 990 filed on January 9 2026 for MyPlace Inc was prepared and postmarked in January; however at that time the IRS electronic filing system was experiencing a shutdown outage which prevented successful transmission. Due to the IRS system unavailability the filer was unable to submit the return despite timely preparation and intent to comply. The organization has a history of timely compliance and did not willfully neglect its filing obligations. The delay was caused solely by IRS system issues and not by any disregard of filing requirements. Accordingly the filer respectfully requests abatement of any late-filing penalties based on reasonable cause.
