Over 250 individuals volunteered to serve these campers. These staff members participated in programs of character-building and spiritual formation in the process of serving, learning valuable work and leadership skills. Guests included individuals, many of whom are under-privileged from school groups, church groups, and other civic groups such as Girl Scouts. Board Meetings are held at least 5 times throughout the year. The interested Board Member may participate in discussion of the matter, but they may not vote on the issue giving rise to the conflict of interest. The policy is reviewed annually by the Board at their October/November strategic planning meeting. The Board reviews previous compensation packages, cost of living data, experience, and the input of comparable data provided by the Christian Camp & Conference Association. The compensation package is decided by a vote of the Board of Directors to be instituted at the start of the calendar year.
