"Operation School Bell" provides new school clothing, shoes and grooming kits to needy children in kindergarten through grade 12 in the Norman and Little Axe Oklahoma Public Schools. Students are referred to Operation School Bell by counselors in the school system. Children are also given a new book through the Chapter's "Book of my Own" collection. Students enrolled in this program live independently while completing high school. Cuddly bears are provided to children in the community who are in the midst of a crisis or facing a traumatic event. Bears are distributed to children through local agencies such as the Norman Police Department, and Food and Shelter for Friends. One Tuesday of each month, Assistance League of Norman members play bingo and provide a social time for clients of Full Circle Life Enrichment Center. Full Circle is a non-profit organization that provides daily adult respite care. A formal portrait session is provided for each Senior.
