The fund was established to provide financial support for general operations. Newly appointed members submit conflict of interest disclosure forms upon joining the board. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 15 The board of directors determines executive director compensation using benchmarking against similar non-profit organizations in Colorado. The executive director uses a similar method to determine compensation of all other officers and employees, presenting the data to the board as part of the budget approval process. The board approves all compensation. Form 990, Part VI, Section C, line 19 The organization makes its governing documents, conflict of interest policy, and financial statements available to the public upon request. Form 990, Part XII, Line 2c: The executive committee of the board of directors is responsible for the selection of the independent accountant and oversight of the annual financial statement audit.
