Over the past several months there was a transition in General Managers and it took time to locate and reconcile our financial statements. Once the issue was identified the organization took immediate steps to complete the filing. To prevent this from happening again the organization has implemented improved procedures including increased reporting to the board earlier financial reconciliation assignment of clear filing responsibility and calendar-based deadline tracking. The organization has made a good-faith effort to comply with all filing requirements and respectfully requests consideration for abatement of any penalties based on reasonable cause.
