Diapers are distributed to families in need exclusively through a network of community partners, including family resource centers, voluntary home visiting, facilitated parent support groups, homeless and foster children services, and public health departments. SAN FRANCISCO DIAPER BANKEstablished in 2015, Help a Mother Outs San Francisco Diaper Bank (SFDB) is the nation's first and only diaper public assistance program. We established the program in 2015 and operate it through a partnership with San Francisco Human Services Agency. Families eligible for CalWORKS, CalFresh, and Medi-Cal may receive up to 2 cases (full months supply) of diapers each month, for each eligible child ages 0-24 months. ELO BABY DIAPERSWe distribute our own private label diaper brand (est. 2019), ELO Baby. Our high-quality diapers are manufactured in a North American ISO certified state of the art facility, alongside numerous popular U.S. diaper brands. In addition to our suppliers rigorous internal quality controls, we use independent laboratory testing for extra peace of mind. CALIFORNIA DIAPER BANKHelp a Mother Outs California Diaper Bank provides one-time diaper grants for disaster relief as well as diapers for organizations that do not have a diaper bank in their area. This program allows us to make discretionary donations outside of our normal service area, when resources are available. In FY25 (July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025) Help a Mother Out distributed 7.6 million diapers ($2.9 million retail value) diapers, and 2.4 million baby wipes ($71k retail value) to approximately 40,000 children. This was done through a network of 55 partner agencies participating in our three main programs.
