Any new members of the board shall be advised of the policy upon entering the duties of his/her office and shall sign the conflict-of-interest statement annually. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 15 Compensation-decision authority related to the Worksource Montgomery Executive Director is the responsibility of the Human Resources committee which includes representatives from both the Worksource Montgomery, inc. Board and the workforce development board. Compensation-decision authority related to the Worksource Montgomery staff is the responsibility of the Worksource Montgomery Executive Director. The joint HR committee shall approve a compensation policy to guide compensation decisions for staff. At least every two years, the HR committee shall engage a reputable consultant to provide market data for similarly situated (size, revenue, etc.) Organizations from both regional and national sources and from both for-profit and not-for-profit organizations. To approve the compensation for the Executive Director, the Human Resources committee and the joint executive committee must document how it reached its decisions, including the data on which it relied, in minutes of the meeting during which the compensation was approved.
