To correct the error, the University followed the guidance in ASC 250, Accounting Changes and Error Correction, and has retrospectivley restated the prior period consolidated financials statements as follows Unrestricted net assets was increased by 1,364,000, Depreciation expense was reduced by 341,000 and Accumulated Depreciation was reduced by 1,705,000.
