Palliative certified Physicians, NPs and MSW Care Navigators and Volunteers comprise the palliative team. Hospice of Yancey County, Inc. dba Compassionate Care Western North Carolina provides bereavement support to hospice patient families for up to 13 months following the passing of a patient and community support to anyone who desires grief support. 392 clients received bereavement support.
