The Board of Directors released the restrictions on the fund and transferred the amounts to net assets without donor restrictions. The endowment funds, in the possession of The Children's Center Foundation, are held on behalf of the Children's Center, Inc., its supported organization. The funds are for use in the programs of The Children's Center, Inc. which include the provision of health care services to medically fragile children. The audited financial statements include a prior year adjustment of ($623,456). The adjustment is included in investment earnings or losses. Part X, Line 2: The Children's Center Foundation believes that it has appropriate support for any tax positions taken affecting its annual filing requirements, and as such, does not have any uncertain tax positions that are material to the financial statements.
