An average of 3,000 individuals are served each month. Each year more families are using our services and on full days, over 100 households come to shop. There were over 36,000 visits of families and individuals walking through the doors in 2024 needing the assistance of the food bank. These consisted of 10,039 youth, 13,530 adults and 14,725 seniors served in 2024. 654,109 pounds of food was donted by citizens and local grocery stores. 105,859 pounds of food was shared with partner organizations. We have approximately 200 volunteers over the course of the year, with 60 regular monthly volunteers to help us operate. A total of 14,112 volunteer hours were donated. Food insecurity can touch the lives of people from all backgrounds, cultures and walks of life. The Bonner Community Food Bank does more than provide zero cost access to food. We prioritize collaboration with partner non-profits and schools to build community. We host partnership locations for Coats 4 Kids, Easter Seals, Panhandle Special Needs, the Emergency Food Program, Bonner Homeless Transitions Settlement Work Program, many of the local schools and many more organzations.
