Article IV Board of Directors - Foundation Board voting members shall be selected from current, former or retired employees of the Bureau of Diplomatic Security who have submitted or consented to their names being submitted as candidates to the DSF Board. Upon conclusion of the initial four-year period, a Director may announce his/her candidacy for a second term. After the general election of Board members, a Board member wishing to stand for a vacant office of either President, Vice President, Secretary or Treasurer, will specifically indicate his/her interest in that specific position (officer positions may only be filled by former or retired employees. President may only be filled by a retired employee). The Board will then conduct an internal election to select the DSF officers. When a single board member resigns or is replaced, any individual who is a current, former or retired employee of the Bureau of Diplomatic Security may be proposed as his/her successor.
