Making Democracy Work Grant from The League of Women Voters of the United States - Ensuring a free, fair, and accessible electoral system for all eligible voters in Virginia. Distributing 600,000 Voter Information Guides to eligible voters. 20000 16558 Sent out postcards to Virginia voters reminding them to check their voter registration and vote. 5005 4435 Virginia Civic Engagement Table Grants aim to ensure that voting rights are protected, civic voices are amplified, and the next generation of leaders is ready to take action. With this grant we helped register some 16000 high school seniors throughout the state of Virginia. 2500 2032 Grant funding from the Democracy Truth Project promotes essential work such as social media monitoring to inoculate voters against bad actors, training with local League leaders on combatting mis-and-disinformation, digital ads that promote accurate election info via VOTE411.org, and educational resources on how to become election observers and poll workers.
