Auxiliaries must submit reports detailing all program events and activities which are then monitored by the Department Program Chairman and Program Advisor to ensure the specific goals and criteria are met. At the end of the program year, the Department Chairman will make recommendations to the Awards Review Committee as to who is eligible to receive specific awards and grants. Pt VI, Line 6 All members of the Council (Board) are members of the VFW Auxiliary. Pt VI, Line 7a Delegates are elected each year in April and all registered delegates have a vote to elect one member per open Officer position. Pt VI, Line 7b Members of the Council of Administration (Board) must approve motions placed on the floor for final decisions. Pt VI, Line 11b Form 990 is emailed to all Board Members for review prior to filing. Pt VI, Line 12c All board members and employees are required to sign a Code of Ethics and Policies Statement covering Accountability, Conflict of Interest and Whistleblower guidelines. These policies are regularly monitored and enforced by the Department Officers through official visits by attending quarterly District meetings and taking appropriate action when notices and any complaints are received by the Department President and/or Department Secretary. Pt VI, Line 15a No compensated CEO, Executive Director, or top management official. Pt VI, Line 15b Compensation of Treasurer and Secretary determined by the Department President and Dept Budget Committee. Council of Administration approves the Proposed Budget. Pt VI, Line 18 Governing documents, conflict of interest policy, and financial statements are available to the public upon request.
