Part III response or note to any other line in Part III Organizations Exempt PurposeThe mission of the Issaquah Alps Trails Club (IATC) is to engage the public to preserve, protect, and promote the land, wildlife, and trails of the Issaquah Alps for present and future generations. Our Board of Trustees, volunteers, and part time Executive Director are serving this mission and working to promote advocacy programs to protect not only the trails, but the open spaces through which they run. Program servicesOur advocacy and outreach work takes many forms that promote public awareness and enjoyment of the Issaquah Alps, including but not limited to:- Advocating for the acquisition and conservation of public open space.- Working with community groups to provide consultation and training for organizingeffective advocacy campaigns.- Engaging the public on conservation efforts by leading and facilitating educational hikes, maintaining trails, leading habitat restoration events, and partnering with land management agencies.
