Form 990 - Organization Mission Our mission is to create opportunities for people to achieve lasting changes in their lives through the collaborative work of churches and organizations in our local community. We support churches and organizations in our network through five initiatives with convening, training, toolkits, consultants, grants, supplies, and volunteers to build stronger programs within the community. Part III - Additional Information Line 4A and 4B - 2024 was the seventeenth year of operation. During the year the following two programs were fully operational 1) Network Development and Outreach and 2) Community Impact areas. Network Development and Outreach consisted of 148 churches and organizations in 2024. Of those 148 churches and organizations, 140 programs participated in our Community Initiatives offerings. 645 volunteers served with Urban Alliance for various projects and outreach events. 139 new volunteers were placed with various organizations within our network for the first time. Urban Alliance partnered with churches and organizations around identified needs in the community impact initiatives including food insecurity, mental health, foster care recruitment, education inequity and returning citizens. In 2024 we provided support to community programs serving over 322,000 people. Urban Alliance convened and trained 1441 program leaders, provided 62 toolkits of printed resource materials to programs on mental health topics and coaching, plus iPad & stands. In 2024, 14,000 resource bags were distributed to the residences in the City of Hartford, which included farmers market coupons providing $3,000 in fresh produce. In partnership with our network, we held 12 food distribution events in Hartford distributing over $270,000 in food to over 3150 families. Our in-kind donation of $209,878 to our partner World Vision, allowed the distribution of over $6 million dollars in supplies to our network organizations plus 1,462 teachers from 62 title 1 schools serving over 36,000 students.
