The designee attends meetings, advises/counsels members on fundraising activities, assists with invoices for payment, and administers Volunteer Alliance restricted fund at St. Mary's Hospital. Per the bylaws, this designee must be consulted on all matters of business for the Auxiliary including, but not limited to, the making of grants or contributions to the Hospital and discerning the purpose for which such grants or contributions shall be used by the hospital. Part IV, Section E, Line 2a - Explanation of Supported Organizations All activities of the organization strive to support Ascension St. Mary's Hospital and further the exempt purposes of the Hospital. The Hospital strives to improve the physical, mental, social and spiritual health status of its surrounding community. The gift shop, thrift shop, and coordinating volunteers are the primary activities of the Organization, which further the exempt purpose of the Hospital to provide services to patients and the community.
