CCCOEO is eligible to deduct charitable contributions under Section 170(b) (A) and is classified as an organization other than a private foundation under Section 509(a)(2). CCOOEO regularly reviews and evaluates its positions taken in the previous fled information returns and reflects in its financial statements concerning issues affecting its tax exempt status unrelated business income and related matters. CCCOEO believes that in the event of an examination by taxing authorities its position would prevail based on the technical merits of such positions. Therefore, CCCOEO has concluded that no tax benefits or liabilities are to be recognized.
