In terms of Orphan Care, our operational funding of six orphanages across five countries benefitted almost 1,400 children who have a low likelihood of adoption or foster care solutions. With this funding, children received proper nutrition, stable and trained caregivers, and educational, medical and psychological services. Hundreds of special needs children were provided with physical and cognitive therapy and programming to enhance their development and quality of life. In Moldova, we continued to provide grannies to 40 institutionalized children, as well as to support at-risk adolescents so they could receive vocational training and gain, not only marketable skills, but also the self-esteem and confidence they need to create an independent life for themselves. Family Preservation programming continued to focus on stabilizing the family by promoting physical health and mental wellbeing, nutrition, education and financial empowerment initiatives. An overarching emphasis on gender equality ran through all WHFCs work, prioritizing a majority of female beneficiaries across programs. Approximately 3,535 individuals in Ethiopia, Burundi, Guatemala and India received services that ensure families remain intact, so their children dont fall into orphanage care. This reporting year, WHFC added 75 new families to our programming and expanded our Financial Savings groups, or Self-Help Groups, to 22, with over 250 participants. These Self Help Groups offer families emotional support as well as microloans to support business development, which has proven critical in lifting families forever out of poverty. Additionally, holistic wrap around medical, nutritional and educational services were offered to approximately 1,700 families as well as the broader community at WHFCs community centers established in Ethiopia and Guatemala, as well as in India. Additionally in 2024, WHFC re-engaged with two medical facilities we previously built in Ethiopia and recognized that this medical infrastructure in Ethiopia along with the clinic in Guatemala supported a catchment area of around 1.3 million. As such WHFC can claim over 115,000 beneficiaries due solely to our medical programming. In total, WHFC and our programming touched over 118,000 individuals around the world. 828682 30000 878611 WHFC provides a range of adoption related serices to clients throughout the United States. Expectant parents considering an adoptive placement of their unborn child receive counseling to support them in making the best decision for themselves and their child. Adoptive parents receive counseling and support from home study through post placement services. WHFC provides adoption placement services from five countries including the United States. During the year ended June 30, 2024, 39 children came home to their adoptive families.
