Our success was only accomplished by have a fantastic volunteer team and support of grantees. We provide food through our weekly distribution for meals to Seniors Adults and Children. We reach just over 3,000 people evry month. We are very happy with the immense comfort resulting from our new cancer and heart support program Pilgrims Journey. This was started as we began to see many of our senior guests diagnosed with advanced cancer and heart problems as they resumed physician visits after Covid. Many doctors are also startled by this phenomenon. Our part-time program manager the Reverend Dr. Emilio Rosolen in addition to having doctorates in divinity and psychology. Our biweekly group meetings are held in a large airy screened in porch and can be attended remotely or in person. We serve home-cooked dinners at the end of the meeting. Between meetings Father Emilio follows up individually with each patient to walk their journey with them. He helps them to understand their illnesses their treatments side effects test results etc. He also helps them with the spiritual and relationship impacts of their disease.
