The Delta Comprehensive HIV Prevention DCCHPP program takes an integrated approach to reducing health disparities in the Mississippi by taking a holistic approach to HIV prevention and treatment that includes identifying those at risk for HIV, those persons with HIV and linking them to prevention and treatment services, providing community outreach and education, providing culturally specific training to local health care providers and enhancing social support systems. This project was implemented to increase availability and accessibility to COVID-19 resources through a. the establishment of a community advisory council b. the provision of COVID-19 education and c. promote vaccine uptake in minority underserved communities through the implementation of community-based vaccine clinics using the community health worker model. The Board also does a performance evaluation annually to aid in determining fair compensation. The Board verifies salary allowability in accordance with grant agreements. Further, net assets were adjusted to record audit entries pertaining to the beginning balance from 2023 totaling $28,816. The aggregate total of adjustments is $29,390.
