During the years long process, three key assessment tools were used to assist in determining the health needs of individuals living in its service area and to align health prevention efforts with the community's greatest needs. Approximately 70 individuals completed the Key Informant Survey. Hospital staff, representatives from schools, social service agencies, public safety and youth services completed the survey. Nearly 500 residents completed the Online Community Survey, which was open for three weeks and available in English, Spanish, Portuguese and Arabic. Two Online Focus Groups were held to discus the issues covered in the surveys. Participants included representatives from social service agencies, members of the Community Benefits advisory team, community health departments, and public safety department. Milford Regional partnered with Holleran Consulting to help us identify the environmental, economic, social, and biological factor impacting the healthcare of area residents. The Holleran Team was led by President Christine Fares Walley and Project Consultant Pamela Steitz.
