<ExplanationTxt>AN INDEPENDENT CPA FIRM AUDITED THE FINANCIAL STATEMENTS OF THIS ORGANIZATION (SCHOOL) FOR THE YEAR ENDED JUNE 30, 2024. THE FIN 48 (ASC 740) FOOTNOTE BELOW IS FROM THE ORGANIZATION'S JUNE 30, 2024. AUDITED FINANCIAL STATEMENTS: The Internal Revenue Service ("IRS") has classified the School as a tax exempt corporation under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code ("IRC"). However, income from certain activities that is not directly related to the School's tax-exempt purpose is subject to taxation as unrelated business income. The School had no unrelated business income for the years ended June 30, 2024 and 2023. Accounting for Uncertain Tax Positions: Accounting principles generally accepted in the United States of America require management to evaluate tax positions taken by the School and recognize a tax liability (or asset) if the School has taken an uncertain position that more likely than not would not be sustained upon examination by the IRS. Management has analyzed the tax positions taken by the School, and has concluded that as of June 30, 2024 and 2023, there are no uncertain positions taken or expected to be taken that would require recognition of a liability (or asset) or disclosure in the financial statements. The School is subject to routine audits by taxing jurisdictions; however, there are currently no audits for any tax periods in progress. In addition, there have been no tax related interest or penalties for years presented in these financial statements. Should such penalties and interest be incurred, the School's policy would be to recognize them as operating expenses.</ExplanationTxt>

THE ORGANIZATION'S BOARD OF TRUSTEES HAS THE RESPONSIBILITY TO OVERSEE, REVIEW AND APPROVE OF THE FEDERAL FORM 990, INCLUDING THE PREPARATION, REVIEW AND FILING PROCESS. AS PART OF THE TAX RETURN PREPARATION PROCESS THE ORGANIZATION HIRED A PROFESSIONAL CPA FIRM WITH EXPERIENCE AND EXPERTISE IN NOT-FOR-PROFIT TAX RETURN PREPARATION TO PREPARE THE FEDERAL FORM 990. THE CPA FIRM'S TAX PROFESSIONALS WORKED CLOSELY WITH THE ORGANIZATION'S HEAD OF SCHOOL TO OBTAIN THE INFORMATION NEEDED IN ORDER TO PREPARE A COMPLETE AND ACCURATE TAX RETURN. <ExplanationTxt>THE ORGANIZATION'S BOARD OF TRUSTEES MAINTAINS AN EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE ("COMMITTEE"). THE COMMITTEE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE REVIEW AND APPROVAL OF THE COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS OF THE ORGANIZATION'S HEAD OF SCHOOL. THE COMMITTEE'S REVIEW IS DONE ON AT LEAST AN ANNUAL BASIS AND ENSURES THAT THE "TOTAL COMPENSATION" OF THE HEAD OF SCHOOL IS REASONABLE. THE ACTIONS TAKEN BY THE COMMITTEE ENABLE THE ORGANIZATION TO RECEIVE THE REBUTTABLE PRESUMPTION OF REASONABLENESS FOR PURPOSES OF INTERNAL REVENUE CODE SECTION 4958 WITH RESPECT TO THE TOTAL COMPENSATION OF THE HEAD OF SCHOOL. THE THREE FACTORS WHICH MUST BE SATISFIED IN ORDER TO RECEIVE THE REBUTTABLE PRESUMPTION OF REASONABLENESS ARE THE FOLLOWING: 1. THE COMPENSATION ARRANGEMENT IS APPROVED IN ADVANCE BY AN "AUTHORIZED BODY" OF THE APPLICABLE TAX-EXEMPT ORGANIZATION WHICH IS COMPOSED ENTIRELY OF INDIVIDUALS WHO DO NOT HAVE A "CONFLICT OF INTEREST" WITH RESPECT TO THE COMPENSATION ARRANGEMENT; 2. <ExplanationTxt>Academic Program: Trinity Hall is committed to providing unprecedented opportunities for learning and leadership through an innovative curriculum taught by passionate and experienced faculty in a diverse environment that celebrates the Catholic tradition. Trinity Hall encourages students to think creatively and critically, solve problems and collaborate, communicate effectively, and lead. Through interdisciplinary studies, design thinking, and a problem-based math curriculum, students are academically well-rounded and thoroughly prepared for college. Our Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics program focuses on developing lessons and techniques that bring together STEAM disciplines and concepts through creative hands-on projects and experiments. Trinity Hall students take four years of engineering. Our Humanities program is intentionally designed to integrate both skills and content between the disciplines of English, history, and theology. Through the lens of the Catholic theological tradition, students engage in the exploration of prayer, scripture, sacraments, and the Church's moral and social teachings, as well as the examination of all world religions. The World Language courses at Trinity Hall facilitate a class structure built around the four main skills: reading, writing, listening, and speaking. The classes aim for target language instruction only. Cultural comparisons, connections, and global outreach are a priority over the scope and sequence of the students' language learning journey. FY24 Achievements: Academics: - Trinity Hall enrolled 336 students for the 2023-2024 school year. - Trinity Hall graduated its eighth class of graduates and hosted a five-year reunion for the Class of 2019, culminating in a "Monarch Meet-up" for all alumnae. - The 74 members of Trinity Hall's Class of 2024 were accepted to over 110 different colleges and universities and received approximately $15 million in merit scholarship offers. - In 2024, based on their efforts taking AP examinations, 18 students were recognized as AP Scholars with Distinction; 31 students were recognized as AP Scholars with Honor; and 57 were recognized as AP Scholars. - Seven seniors committed to continuing their academic and athletic careers in the NCAA at the DI and DIII levels in six different sports. Our club roster boasts over 30 clubs, including: ACE (Acceptance, Compassion, and Empowerment), Art Club, Chorus, Dance Club, Garden Gurus, Literary Magazine, Model United Nations, The Royal Record (Yearbook), Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) Club, and The Trinity Hall Tribune (Newspaper). We launched several new/updated student-initiated volunteer and philanthropic experiences; for example: - Partnership with Red Bank Middle School: We have held this partnership for years at a tutoring level. Since their tutoring program was cut during COVID, the relationship severed but due to a student's passion for mentorship, Monarch Mentors was formed which aims to create mentor partnerships between the middle school students and our students as they push into clubs. - Philanthropic support: Environmental club hosted a drive for clothing and shoes to support the Vin Gopal Civic Association pantry. They then hosted a day of shopping for local community members to "shop with dignity" for donated items. All items were free but the students helped them shop and bagged their clothes for them so they felt like they were shopping. - Grade-level presidents organized bake sales based on their grade's non-profit passions to support local nonprofits in the area. Clubs expanded programming to the community and organized trips to allow students a first-hand experience in the field (for example: Video Game club went to a real college-level gaming facility at Brookdale Community College to learn about gaming at a higher-education level and opportunities to showcase talents in the field.) Trinity Hall also has the following student organizations: Liturgical Ministry, Student Ambassadors, Student Annual Fund Committee, and Tech Team. Student Government is divided into five core councils: Academics, Arts, Athletics, Community Life, and SCOPE (Service, Community Outreach, and Prayer are Essential). - The Student Council hosted several new programming events throughout the year including cupcake decorating and a movie to kick off the holiday season. Many of these activities aimed to continue to foster sisterhood and big-little sister relationships. - The class presidents organized a second annual "Battle of the Classes" event which provided a week of team-building games, themes and activities for the entire student body and staff to participate in and grow school spirit. - The Academics Council provided new initiatives and activities to celebrate student success each trimester and academic contributions through peer mentoring throughout the school year. - The Arts Council continued to increase school-wide support of the arts through monthly bulletin board drawing contests and audience opportunities to contribute to art at their annual events (Coffeehouse, Paint & Snack events, and Evening of Fine Arts). - The Athletics Council boosted fan participation with designated fan days. Students had the opportunity to gain royal rumble points for attending the events. They also helped support the volleyball team's Dig Pink Day to honor those facing a breast cancer diagnosis. - The Community Life Council hosted new activities including a school-wide week of spooky activities during Halloween, winter activities during the holidays, and during LOVE week, a big-little sister cupcake decorating competition. - The SCOPE Council, in collaboration with the liturgical team, introduced first Friday Masses in our chapel as an option for students to attend Mass each month and supported many local non-profit organizations through drives, volunteer opportunities, and bake sales. - Students presented a Fall drama (The Learned Ladies) and a Spring musical (Firebringer). Both productions were recognized with many Count Basie Awards. - All students participated in fall back-to-school class trips and Service Day in the spring, which supported 20 local non-profit organizations. The senior class participated in their own day of service and supported Rising Treetops by helping with various needs including cleaning, organizing, decorating for the holidays, and beautifying their walls with murals.</ExplanationTxt>
