Goal of the season is to showcase Black Music traditions by presenting a representative sample of black music genres including classical music written by black composers as well as spirituals jazz and Rhythm & Blues. Our legacy project concert and archival history honors artists and teachers who have made significant contributions to lack music traditions and works to preserve and present their history to the present and coming generations. Our audiences demographics varies but usually at least 65% of our audience is Black with audience totals of about 3,000.
