More than 60% of these donations have been provided by the public, specifically from individuals, with slightly less than 40% coming from an affiliated entity. Over the last five years (2020 through 2024), the $3.8 million in contributions from the public have been received through 391 separate transactions involving 65 separate donors. All income received by the CCDOFW Endowment is derived entirely from the investment of these donations and past accumulated earnings. The CCDOFW Endowment is led by a board composed of independent community leaders and finance professionals from various industries. The board has expanded marketing efforts in recent years in order to increase support received from the public, but market volatility may continue to distort the standard calculations of public support. The CCDOFW Endowment has always been and will continue to be predominantly supported by the public.
