NAMISA follows the spending policy of CFSA. CFSA makes available for distribution 4% of a 20-quarter rolling average of the funds total market value at the end of each quarter. If the fund is in existence for less than 20 quarters, the calculation is based on the average of existing historical quarters. The current years spending amount becomes the available to grant amount in the next fiscal year.
