He receives no compensation for services provided to HJCF Investment Program LLC. The accounting firm for HJCF Investment Program, LLC was not informed that the organization was legally formed prior to August 31, 2024. The oversight was discovered during the preparation of Form 990 for the supported organization Houston Jewish Community Foundation. The supported organization has never missed a tax compliance filing. Both the supported organization and the supporting organization engage a local Houston firm that specializes in exempt organization tax compliance. The organization is now in the systems for both the supported organization's internal records and the external accounting firm's administrative records. This oversight was inadvertent and will not be repeated. The organization respectfully requests abatement from late filing penalties due to the reasonable causes explained above.
