Most of them are brought in by the International Rescue Committee (IRC), under a grant from the U.S. Department of State. We support these refugees with rent, furniture and housing equipment, moving costs, general home setup, and food and other necessities. Typically this support lasts for only their first ninety days in Helena, while they get established and find employment. Every disbursement is booked in our QuickBooks accounting system, with a detail by family supported, and a monthly financial report is reviewed by the governance committee.
