Community Curation In 2024, 836 social enterprises, responsible businesses, cooperatives, nonprofits, and voluntary initiatives became Good Market approved. As of December 31, 2024, 3,987 enterprises across 113 countries were approved on the platform. More than 130 networks were using the digital commons. 0 15992 Enabling Infrastructure In 2024, the software team transitioned to an open source solution for network marketplaces and added functionality for networks to manage participatory verification systems, including distributed review processes, activity tracking, message templates, and certificate downloads. They also added directories for special offers and supporters, information systems for social and environmental certifications and verifications, searchable collections, data query and visualization tools, and API integrations with other platforms and tools. Based on this engagement, the bylaws were updated, governance committees were added to clarify stewardship roles for the digital commons, and policies were updated or added. These changes were approved in the June 2024 board meeting. The stewardship roles are Curation, Localization, Software, Finance, and Legal. The policies are Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, Directory Policy, Marketplace Policy, Brand and Logo Policy, and Communications Policy.
