We recruited 99 volunteer program leaders, trained as teachers, mentors, and facilitators. NAMI GH launched ten NAMI on Campus Clubs at college and universities and two NAMI On Campus Clubs at area High Schools raising awareness and connecting students to services. 11,550 reported they would refer others to NAMI, 2,310 graduated multiple NAMI programs, 2,094 attended a NAMI GH support group, and 68% First-Time participants became NAMI members. NAMI GH offers restorative justice groups through adolescent and adult criminal justice programs throughout the service area. In 2023 NAMI GH served 1,300 participants who attended jail diversion programs including restorative justice groups for the homeless, provided 10 Provider Education Courses and 36 staff training sessions in support of frontline workers such as nurses, teachers, middle-managers, firefighters and EMS workers. 7,500+ folks participated in NAMI Outreach and Advocacy events related to mental wellness or public policy training. NAMI GH conducted an increasing number of trainings related to mental health in the workplace. More than 6,500 callers were helped through the NAMI Greater Houston warmline.
