This change came about as the organization went from being an unincorporated association to being a C Corporation. The ("MACC") addition was let off on the original return as an administrative oversight. The second reason the return is being amended is to add more documentation on the incorporation to allow under Rev. Proc. 2018-15. We have prepared an Officer's Certificate, which conveys that the business and purpose of the organization have not changed since its original formation as an incorporated association. Therefore, the original exemption certificate under IRC 501(c)(3) applies to the newly incorporated Organization. The Officer's Certificate includes Exhibits A, B, and C, which are the original determination letter, Articles of Organization, and the By-Laws. We are submitting this supplemental material under separate cover. They can also be viewed upon request to the Organization.
