In 2013, the Club received insurance proceeds of $369,075 relating to damages from Hurricane Sandy. In 2023, the Club incurred significant damages from a tugboat and barge accident and received insurance proceeds of $383,485. During 2023, the Club began the rebuilding process and expended $258,645. In 2024, the Club continued the reconstruction of damaged property specifically damages to the boat docks and anchorage back to the status before damages and also received additional insurance proceeds of $525,535 and expended an additional amount of $437,296. Therefore, the 2024 fixed asset balance has been reduced by the net remaining insurance proceeds to pay for post-2024 reconstruction in the amount of $313,079. Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 6 Robbins Reef Yacht Club is a NJ non-profit corporation formed on September 13, 1906. The Club has a total of 118 members. The members annually elect officers and trustees as its governing body. The Club has no employees and no officer or member receives any compensation. All members are required to work a certain number of hours annually on the premises with no pay for these club services.
