Form 990, Part VI, Section A, line 7a The Board of Directors of the Foundation shall consist of the same individuals as those who serve on the board of directors of the Aberdeen Family YMCA. The board members are provided a copy of the return for their review at the first meeting subsequent to the return being filed. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 12 The Foundation does not have a separate conflict of interest policy. However, because the officers and directors are the same as those for the Aberdeen Family YMCA's governing board, they inherently monitor themselves and each other as part of the YMCA's governance process on a monthly basis. The conflict of interest policy for Aberdeen Family YMCA is reviewed and signed by board members on an annual basis. Individuals abstain from deliberations and decisions on issues for which a conflict exists. Compensation changes made are in conjunction with a performance appraisal. Comparative YMCA salary and other compensation for similar positions in the community is provided to the board for their review. This is evaluated on an annual basis.
