Awards Reception & Luncheon: ATHENA of the Triangle hosted 300 attendees at their annual ATHENA Awards Reception and Luncheon where the organization honored local leaders for their professional excellence, community service, and for actively assisting women in their attainment of professional excellence and leadership skills. 0 28919 ATHENA Powerlink(APL): This is a business mentoring program designed to increase the growth and profitability of women-owned businesses. A panel of volunteers who are members of the local business community are linked with a woman business owner to act as mentors and advisors for one year. In 2023 there were three (3) women business owner panels supported through the program, and this cohort graduated in 2024. This full-day conference was structured around theme, People, Purpose, Passion and utilized the ATHENA Leadership Model with breakout sessions, workshops, and networking.
