In 2023, Beacon distributed 324,927 pounds of food to those in need in our community. Through our Commodity Supplemental Food Program, we provide an additional 144 food packages each month to qualifying seniors, over the age of 60. Healthy Opportunities Pilot Program (HOP): Beacon of Hope is an HSO (Health Service Organization) within the Healthy Opportunities Pilot Program which is funded through Medicaid. At year-end, Beacons HOP program had grown from serving 3 families to providing weekly groceries to 26 families. Thrift Store: Aside from offering a low-cost retail alternative to our community, Beacons Thrift Store also offers assistance with clothing, household items, and more.
