We work to increase healthy food access across the region by also increasing market access for small to mid-scale farmers, especially among institutional customers, such as schools. We process an array of locally grown vegetables in a HACCP-certified facility to promote healthy food access to convenient and locally grown foods. We also provide regular distributions of fresh produce, pasture-raised meats, and healthy scratch-made meals to 300+ food insecure seniors and families in our community. We lead and collaborate on food system planning efforts, working with government agencies and civic organizations to build more inclusive and sustainable regional food systems. 33652 0 0 Community Engagement: Through this program, we aim to build awareness of and support for regional food systems, sustainable agriculture and the integration of local/regional food into food assistance programs.
