Twelve months a year, participants are guided, supported, and mentored in some of life's most essential areas including: education, social skills, morals, values, leadership, and fitness. RBTV consists of two programs: the journey and retreats. The journey is a program of perseverance and fortitude girded in spiritual, social, educational, and physical development to build a resilient, compassionate, purpose-driven leader of character. The journey is year-round. In addition, the Organization is subject to income tax on net income that is derived from business activities that are unrelated to their exempt purposes. Management has determined that the Organization is not subject to unrelated business income tax and has not filed an Exempt Organization Business Income Tax Return (Form 990-T) with the IRS. The Organization has either filed or extended the time to file the annual information returns and has neither received nor been notified by any federal or state taxing authorities of any matters that would need to be disclosed in the accompanying financial statements. Under ASC 740, an organization must recognize the financial statement effects of a tax position taken for tax return purposes when it is more likely than not that the position will not be sustained upon examination by a taxing authority. As of December 31, 2023, the Organization had no material unrecognized tax benefits and no adjustments to liabilities or its activities were required under ASC 740. The Organization's practice was and continues to be to recognize interest and penalty expenses related to uncertain tax positions in income tax expense, which were zero for the year ended December 31, 2023.
