To accomplish these goals, CareSource Mission develops outreach and education strategies specific to the needs and issues of the states it serves. CareSource Mission will lobby state and local elected officials on Medicaid and related coverage issues and will serve as subject matter experts to policymakers on evidence-based ways to address healthcare access, cost, and outcomes. CareSource Mission may also join or launch educational and advocacy campaigns with community stakeholders to raise awareness among elected officials, consumers, and community partners about Medicaid, social determinants of health, and the health care safety net.
