During each board meeting when a vote is on the floor for approval, the chair will ask if anyone has a conflict and if so, that board member abstain from voting. Pt VI, Line 19: The Foundation's governing documents, all policy documents, and financial statements are available upon request from an individual or organization to the Foundation. Pt VII: The State Bar of Texas pays for various expenses incurred by the Foundation, including postage, printing, salaries and fringe benefit expenses. The Foundation usually reimburses the State Bar of Texas for these expenses.
