The Bylaws of each of the supported organizations name the Board of Directors of SPH as the governing body for the supported organization. SPH's governing documents are not amended with the admission of a new supported organization, but rather this process is formalized by resolution of the SPH Board of Directors, as directed by AHRS. Part IV, Section A, Line 1: Stone Point Health (SPH) supports the functions of hospitals and health facilities in the state of California and such other units that qualify as exempt organizations under section 501(c)(3) of the Code and are described in either Section 509(a)(1) or section 509(a)(2) of the Code. The supported organizations of SPH are designated by the parent organization, Adventist Health System/West (AHRS). The Board of Directors for SPH and its three supported organizations, Adventist Health Mendocino Coast, Adventist Health and Rideout, and Mid-Columbia Medical Center DBA Adventist Health Columbia Gorge are comprised of the same individuals as elected by the parent organization, AHRS. Part IV, Section A, Line 5a: Stone Point Health (SPH) added Mid-Columbia Medical Center DBA Adventist Health Columbia Gorge (AHCG), EIN: 93-0386936 as a supported organization during the tax year as a result of an affiliation agreement executed in 2023. The Bylaws of AHCG amended in 2023 name the Board of Directors of SPH as the governing body for AHCG. This process was formalized by resolution of the SPH Board of Directors, as directed by the parent organization, Adventist Health System/West.
