<ExplanationTxt>Part III-Program Service Accomplishments-Family Resource Specialist-Beginning August 2023 by the end of December, we managed to serve 85 people. Some of our accomplishments in the area of Family Resources have been successfully referring people in our community and connecting them to mental health resources as well as people who have requested resources from food banks, assistance with diapers and baby items. Follow-up calls made they have expressed their gratitude for connectiong them to places and resources that they have received humane and kind treatment of good quality. The community has been grateful because when they are cared for they discover that there are resources within the community which they can access and they feel happy to find Para Los Ninos to be a place where they can be heard and find answers to how to meet their needs.Computer Lab-Para Los Ninos de Highlines Computer Lab began the new cycle of classes in September 2023 with an attendance of 12 students for level 1 and 7 attending level 2, for a total of 19 students. Student testimonials demonstrate the progress they have made within the classes. One of the Level 1 students says, I bought my new computer a week ago and was able to install it and configure it myself, following the instructions I was given in class. I am proud of myself because I have never had contact with a computer before. Another level one student says, I used to have to go to the library to get help filling out health insurance forms, now I can do it on my own from home. The greatest achievement was maintaining a high attendance rate and permanence in all classes, which is reflected in the progress of the students through a knowledge test applied to them at the beginning and then again at the end of the period from September to December 2023. There were very low scores in the initial test and then a notable increase in the scores on the final.Early Learning Programs are Sustaining Help Me Grow & Kaleidoscope Play and Learn:Help Me Grow-Creciendo en Comunidad is an in-person program for children. It began in 2023 aimed at the Latino Community, in particular its mothers/fathers, guardians with children between the ages 0 to 5 years as well as pregnant youth living in the Highline area. It is a program aimed at parents learning about their childrens physical, social, and emotional growth and development at an early age, while also having the opportunity to interact with other families, as well as connect them with community resources. Among the activities that are carried out in the program which have been of great relevance and learning for the participants are the workshops that are held each month with topics such as: Childhood Development, Logic Thinking in Children, Challenging Behavior, Attachment, Socio-Emotional Training, among others. Participants said they feel more informed, learned how to improve communication with their children and that they have learned how to put into practice the advice they have acquired through the workshops. In the same way, they have been guided so that they can attend various institutes and organizations in order to obtain resources to meet their basic needs, among the most common are: diapers, food, education support, rent, electricity, dental insurance and in some cases mental health. Kaleidoscope Play and Learn-Throughout the year, our early education program has had many outstanding events. We carried out artistic and stimulation activities with the children, alongwith their parents and loved ones. They were able to recreate these activities at home to continue their learning in a playful and fun way. We focused on awareness of feelings and emotions, and the children learned how to express their feelings in healthy ways. In May, we had a graduation week where the children celebrated their achievements and progress made during the year. In July, some participants of the program attended the summer course doing activities that helped them maintain their skills and learning during their holidays. In October, we started the new course 2023/2024 with a welcome week and the children began to explore their new environment and became familiar with the playing and learning spaces with their classmates. In this new school year we started a third group for children aged 2 to 3 on Tuesdays. In December, we had a week of festivities and the children participated in cultural and end-of-year activities.Leadership Academy-During 2023, the main achievement of the Leadership Academy was the observable growth of the participants in their personal and work lives. Thanks to what they learned, some of them became involved in our community and obtained important positions in the PTA of their childrens schools. Others got a better job in the field of education. They also developed the structure of a project to encourage parents to become more involved in their childrens school education. The implementation of growth workshops was also a focus of attention. They were generated to develop and improve job skills such as: Resume writing, how to prepare for a job interview and improve computer skills.High Schoolers Internship-We worked and shared our work experience with high school students where we developed projects applying their skills and interests for their growth and educational enrichment.Vote Education-As for the vote we managed to pre-register several Latino youth, phone banks wete assembled to motivate the vote in the Hispanic community and training for the education of the vote all being in Spanish. Summer Program-The summer program was held for three weeks, on a longer schedule than in 2022. We served 76 children ages 5 to 13, who were divided into groups according to school grade. They were three intense weeks where the children carried out different activities such as: art, practiced different sports:soccer, basketball, volleyball. They played traditional outdoor games, had reading time, played traditional board games, practiced Yoga class, participated in water activities and also had the opportunity to visit three different places; Aquarium, Pacific Science Center, and Defy Seattle. Each of the activities helped the children to develop and increase their creativity and imagination in a safe environment, with the support, dedication and willingness of the staff collaborating in the program. The development of the summer program had an important impact on both the children and the families. The children strengthened relationships with other children from different cultures, they learned different strategies to enhance their personal growth in several areas, the most important was the socio-emotional aspect. They also shared ideas, experiences and culture and made new friends. Parents had the trust necessary to leave their children, we provided a safe place, and the parents knew that apart from having fun they were also learning and sharing.Aprendamos Juntos-The success of the Aprendamos Juntos program is reflected in the increase in Latino families interested in being part of the program. The program was developed in a trusting, positive and safe environment, as it integrates parent-child learning in a multicultural and bilingual environment. The parents received English classes and increased their knowledge of the language and this helped them obtain better job opportunities, they also felt safe, confident and calm knowing that while they increased their knowledge of the English language, their children were receiving support to strengthening their academic and socio-emotional development, as well as discovering their different skills in arts and crafts. All this was possible thanks to the collaboration of teachers, instructiors, assistants and volunteers, who in one way or another were an important part of the growth and development of parents and children. Community Health Worker-The Community Health Worker was able to reach more members of the community regarding COVID-19 information and services in 2023. The Community Health Worker was able to produce informative videos related to COVID-19 in 3 languages:Zapoteco, Language de la Lluvia, and Mixteco. Our community members need to continue to be informed about available measures available to keep them safe from COVID-19 and any of its consequences. The Community Health Worker also took the opportunity to connect and collaborate with the Community Health Plan of Washington, we had them be present at our vaccination clinics to assist in giving further information on health care coverage as well as answer any questions regarding related concerns. Blood pressure checks were available as well as vaccine administration which was required for enrollment in public school. Dental clinics were also stationed by our office once a month for members of the community that did not have easy access to dental care. Vaccine clinics held here at our facilities for our familie</ExplanationTxt>
