This help is immediate and doesnt require an appointment. Some of the ways we help include groceries for the housed, daily sack lunch for the homeless, clothing, financial assiatance for prescriptions, ID recovery, utilities and individualized financial help for the unsheltered street homeless that may include miscellaneous items, hotel stay, travel back home etc. with a goal to helping them off the streets. CAM clients represent vulnerable populations including the working poor, those in exteme poverty, mentally ill, physically ill, veterans, senior citizens, the homeless men, women, and children. CAM operates mostly fron private funding with very little governmen t support and leads with the messge of love, kindness, grace, and mercy. CAM acts much like an emergency room of social services meeting peoples most critical needs that day while also getting them connected to long term supports. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11b The organizations Form 990 is reviewed by the Finance Committee prior to submitting the tax return to the full Board for their review. The Form 990 is signed and filed subsequent to the boards approval. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 12c The organizations conflict of interest policy is outlined in, and a complement to, the organizations bylaws. Board Members and key employees are required to disclose, in writing, conflicts of interest as defined by the policy. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 15b The organization has access to a city-wide survey of non-profit employment data gathered by the San Antonio Area Foundation. The organization uses this employment information to establish job descriptions for the Executive Director and other key employees and to establish their respective annual pay rates and benefit allowances. Form 990, Part VI, Section C, Line 19 The organizations financial statements, Form 990 organizational documents and other conflict of interest policy are made available to the organizations Board of Directors, members of the organizations church council, and to the general public upon request.
