The Form 990 is made available to all Board members as well as key employees for their review. If they believe they have no conflicts, we request a short note stating they are not aware of any potential conflicts. We distribute a questionnaire to the officers, board members and key employees on an annual basis. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 15 The League of American Orchestra Survey is referenced along with the Non-Profit Association of the Midlands compensation Survey to serve as a guideline for staff salaries, including the CEO and senior staff positions. An annual performance review is conducted with every member of the staff. Staff compensation is included in the annual budget that is approved by the Board's Finance committee. That committee then recommends to the Board the compensation budget before the final budget is approved. The CEO reviews staff salaries with the Chairman of the Board prior to the annual budget being presented to the Board.
