Scholarship funds are managed by the Organization's staff. Applicants for scholarships must meet financial need, academic merit, or other criteria as set by the Organization and the Organization's scholarship matching partners. To align educators and employer objectives, OneFuture provides direct services to students from Grade 6 through college graduation and career launch. These services include coordinating regional Work-based Learning Experiences that inspire and inform career decisions and hosting College Planning Events and Workshops to help students pursue degrees that lead to good jobs. A robust Financial Aid program provides scholarships matched with Coachella Valley organizations and assists students and families in navigating the college financial aid process and optimizing other available funding sources. OneFuture provides One-on-one Support and an Online Portal for students to create college and career plans and overcome obstacles to enrollment and graduation. Before and after graduation, OneFuture works with local employers to provide Internships, Networking and Job Connection services to connect young people with Coachella Valley employers and future employment. The holistic support provided for local students keeps them on track and goes above and beyond traditional systems of support. OneFuture scholars graduate at a higher rate because our team encourages, trains, and supports them through a community based, family-like structure that is available until they complete their degree.
