Most support by The Bridge Fund goes for specific individuals and families by payment to a landlord for rent, a utility company for an overdue bill, a medical provider for treatment, etc. For some needs, such as food to school children, mirgrant families and seniors, The Bridge Fund directs funds (grants) specifically to the agencies listed in Part II for an agreed upon number of individuals or families and for a specified amount/product delivery. These agencies are monitored to be sure they remain 501(c)(3). Form 990 governing body review Part VI line 11 An electronic copy of Form 990 is sent to each Board member for review before filing. Conflict of interest policy compliance Part VI line 12c All Board members are voluntary, retired individuals. Once per year, each member reviews the Conflict of Interest policy and signs The Conflict of Interest form, which is reviewed by the entire Board. An Annual Certification of Compliance with S.496.4055(2), Florida Statutes, is submitted annually to the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services as part of the Solicitation of Contributions requirement.
