Form 990, Part VI, Section A, line 6 The Organization has members who pay an annual due. Membership - any reputable person who has a reasonable and substantial interest in the economic development of the state of Georgia or any subdivision thereof, and who sincerely desires to further the purpose of this corporation may be elected a member by the board of directors as provided herein. Form 990, Part VI, Section A, line 7a Members elect Board of Directors by a majority of the members present at the annual meeting. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 11b The Organization's does not provide form 990 to all members of its governing body prior to filing the form. However, it does provide the form to its Chairman, Secretary/Treasurer and President for review prior to filing. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 12c A copy of the policy is given to all Board members, staff members, volunteers or other stakeholders upon the commencement of such person's relationship with the Organization or at the official adoption of the stated policy. Each Board member, staff member, volunteer or the other stakeholder shall sign and date the policy at the beginning of his/her term of service or employment and each year thereafter. In determining the President's beginning compensation as set forth in contract, the board used a salary survey prepared by the International Economic Development Council ("IEDC"), making adjustments for the size of the Organization, the number of staff members, the scope of the Organization's activities and the President's experience. Future salary increases will be based on market factors and job performance.
