Endowment funds intended uses (Part V, line 4) The endowment funds will be used to ensure that the NCCIL can maintain its stated missions in the future. After their approval, the 990 is provided to the board of directors for reveiw prior to filing the return. The NCCIL utilizes an archival framing method to preserve these fine pieces to fully live out our mission to exhibit, tour, collect, preserve, and promote original art from the finest childrens literature and ensure the art can be celebrated for ages to come. Each year, the NCCIL partners with school districts around the state to provide a fine art experience to almost 4,000 students at absolutely no cost.
